Alright Nitrous freaks I need your help. I plan to run a 50-75 shot for the 1320 but I plan to mostly keep the car N/A and aslo use it as a track car as well. Heres my current setup. Best time @ 1/4 mile was 15.2 @ 90 MPH. Car is fully gutted as well.
I have a 1991 Prelude w/ a B20A 9.4:1Compression around 40-45K on the motor
CAI
DC Sports header
Exhaust (2.25 crush bent)
91 Prelude intake Manifold
Cam gears
FPR
Denso Iridium Spark Plugs
Magnecor Spark plug wires
ACT HD clutch
I plan on getting the following to help with the Nitrous and N/A setup:
1) S-AFC
2) R/C Injectors
3) Walbro (What size????) Fuel Pump
4) AEM Fuel Rail
5) 5 gal Fuel cell
6) Fuel Pressure Gauge
7) Crane HI-6 Ignition w/ LX-92 Coil
8) What kind of A/F Ratio Gauge should I get??? Autometer,
Halmeter,????
Which Nitrous kit should Igo with????
Is there anything else thast I should look into so I won't blow up my motor???
Any Advice would be greatly apreciated.
Thanks for your time

A Zex kit is super easy to install and safe, whereas the NX kit is a bit more involved install (nothing TOO daunting) but 99% of the time delivers more power than any other 50-75 shot system on the market.
Givin your current mod list, you seem plenty mechanically inclined to install an NX kit.
I vote single fogger kit for anything equal to or less than a 75 shot. NOS or NX, it doesn't really matter except that NX jets their shots higher.

Sorry to be so un-informed about Nitrous but is the fogger kit the same as a dry system. Or are they 2 completely different things???
Just to make sure that I have my Nitrous setups are correct the Dry System is when fuel & Nitrous are injected to the intake manifold? Correct? And the wet is when Nitrous and fuel are injected to each individaul intake runner? Correct?
Thanks for the help.

what shot are u lookin for? if 75 or more i would go for direct port. NX is nice and zex.. do u have built motor or just stock pistons.. dont know much about 91s...
I agree with Laughin... single fogger would be the way to go.. you can decide on whether you want a wet kit or a dry kit.. only difference between the two is that the dry kit Sprays nitrous in through the intake, and tricks your motor into providing additional feul through your fuel injectors... its called a dry system because after spraying it leaves the upper intake dry, where as the wet system introduces fuel and nitrous both at the same place and the same time and leaves the upper intake wet with fuel... (hey laughin, dont know about you but i am experiencing deja-vu.. lol... starting to sound like a broken record between this post and the other Nitrous post.. lol) hope this answers your question

A single fogger wet kit has one nozzle mounted 6 inches from the throttle body and it sprays both nitrous and fuel into the intake tubing.
A Dry kit only sprays nitrous into the intake tubing. The extra fuel is added via a vaccuum tube attched to the nitrous noid and the fuel pressure regulator. When you spray fuel pressure increases and more fuel gets dumped into the engine via the fuel injectors.
A direct port kit is another type of wet kit that has one nozzle per intake runner. These kits are a bitch to install on prelude intake manifolds, but it can be done. I wouldn't take the time to run DP unless I wanted to run higher than an 80 shot.

a single fogger system is also known as a "wet" system as for running nitrous if you are using a 60 short max you should be able to keep everything stock but you will need a new clutch SOON cause the stock one wears out real quick also dont spray in 1st or 5 gears cause thats how you break **** if you really want to know alot about nitrous go to http://www.jdmuniverse.com they have alot of great tech help and a whole nitrous board i learned alot of info from going to that site it helps
why wouldn't you spray in first?!!!, you spray as SOON as you can get traction in my 93 it was about 3500 in 1st. and 5th isnt good only cause its such a long gear it wears down plus your a/f isn't as good in the higher gear cause the engine requires more fuel...
i think we have a little f&f logic in here, where they wait for the half mile point to spray

Spraying in 1st is fine as long as it is not before 3k RPM.
im not saying that you cant say in 1st im just saying i dont think spraying in 1st is good just my point of view cause if you have it set up with a wot switch it will spray right away and youll just sit there roasting your tires, if you want to spray in first go ahead but i recommend spraying in 2nd just cause you wont burnout

I won't spray off of the line, but I will have the kit armed and I will only floor it once I get traction in first. This usually comes a bit after the 6k RPM mark.
well, i had mine wired on a button the was on my shifter, so i could hit it when ever i wanted, so i was wot but not sprayin till i want too
