Default clutch replacement issue 2000 accord wont move...

ok replaced clutch
had the pp redone and i cleaned with brake cleaner
put back together
got out of driveway in first
everything ok
shift to second kept moving
then nothing
would go into gear but not move
no grinding etc
engine running fine
pulled tranny again
no visible signs of any issues
replaced the rear main seal as i did a funky job of it last time

car still on jacks !

ok i left out something i just found...

it will shift without pushing clutch in !!

so that means the throw out bearing is sticking or the fork is sticking!

right?

Yep, Sounds like the clutch is stuck engaged. Youre close.

Whenever replacing a clutch component you always replace it as a set. Exedy makes thee best clutch kits for our cars. Visibly check carefully the fork and see if it's bent or anything doesn't look right. Even check the slave cylinder. Make sure everything is moving when you push the clutch.

ok i did not have the throw bearing on the fork correctly. It was too high up on the fork i tapped it down onto the fork where the wear the spot ended and bingo!
