No clutch engagement(yes i searched)
ok so i got my fresh motor in today with new clutch, bled the clutch and it still feels way toooo soft like theres nothing there. so i start the car up and try to put it in gear, and it wont go into any gear just grinds. does this sound like a throwout bearing issue to you guys? i just need to figure this out so i can get it on the dyno at 3pm tomorrow.

I'd start with checking the slave cylinder to make sure it's working properly. Also make sure you bled it right. If you've got the slave off, take that rubber boot off the trans and try to operate the clutch fork by hand. It's possible you don't have the clutch fork on right.
The fact it's grinding indicates your clutch isn't engaging. The throwout bearing would be making a noise if it was bad, but it should still engage. I'd look at the fork or the hydraulics first.

you might not have to. just check the simple stuff first.
look to see if the slave cylinder is actuating the fork like said before. if its working as it should, then you will have to end up pulling the transmission. No problem is so, takes about an hour, off and then back on the car.
good luck!

ha try letting the clutch out slightly and see if it will go in gear, if it does than you need to adjust the pedal. The same exact thing happened to me with my 6 puck and I couldnt figure it out for the life of me even took the tranny out twice. Ended up just needing to adjust the rod connecting to the pedal.

its not bled properly. i bet money on it. you need a rubber hose from the bleeder nipple into a clear canister full of fluid. keep hose submerged and master cyl. full. crack bleeder with hose on and submerged and leave it cracked this whole time. start pumping clutch and watch for bubbles comming out of hose. keep pumping it over and over till no more bubbles come out. than tighten bleeder. now pump it 20 more times or so with it closed , and with hose still on and submerged , crack bleeder again , pump it a bunch more , make sure no more bubbles , tighten bleeder for last time and your done.

you may want to check to make sure you don't have any leaks in the hydrolic system. if you can pump the clutch while the car is on and get it into gear, you probably have a leak somewhere and will need to replace the master and slave.
will it go into gear when the car is off? are you certain that the new clutch was installed properly?

yeah it will go into gear smoothly when the car isnt running. and i havent spotted any leaks anywhere yet. i just got home from vacation. and started the car to let it idle again, and it goes into gear now that i adjusted the rod.
