weird clutch issues
alright problem is i just got this car, a fixer upper, but nuthin major...anyways the clutch is actin pretty weird, sometimes it wont disengange, sometimes it will....it feels like air keeps getting in the line, so ive bled it several times..but everytime i bleed it the clutch gets stuck on the floor, cept when i lift it up off the floor just a half inch it snap back up, and the clutch feels good, dont really feel mushy..then i startt he car and go threw the gears and it feels fine (usually i can hardly get into gear, because the clutch isnt full disengaged)...then if i get take it halfway down the street its already back to the bullshit..i checked for leaks at the master, slave, all the hoses, and at the seal on the firewall behind the clutch, no leaks that ive been able to find..
the throwout bearing and possibly pilot bearing are shot, and im going to replace both with the clutch soon, but do you think these symptoms could also be cause by the clutch cylinders...i cant tell if its a coincadince that they are all going out at the same time or if just one of these is causing the problem..the bearing is def going out those cause it chatters pretty bad when the clutch is pushed in. but its weird that when i bleed the line it feels great for a couple minutes then its trash again. and its also weird that no matter how many times i bleed it the clutch gets stuck on the floor till i give it a little help...then once it pops out it dont get stuck till the next time i bleed it.
long long post but TIY
