Default 89 accord lx-i motor swap options

Hey folks, so I've come to discover that this 3rd gen is hard to work with. Can someone tell me what motor swaps are the best and least difficult to do? I've heard h22's are good options but I was wondering what I'd have to do to swap on a b18c and manual transmission. Thank you

the JDM dohc b20a is your best bet as far as good and easy on labor, too bad its a hard engine to find.

for anything else you can try and see if anyone makes custom mounts, but realistically you are going to have to fabricate it all yourself.

Years ago, a company called Place Racing developed a conventional "B" series mount kit, allowing you to mount a DOHC VTEC engine like the B16A, B18C1/5, or even the lesser B18A/B and B20B/Z DOHC non-VTEC engines. I haven't seen a set since 2004. If you can find some, that is the best play unless you have fabrication skills. Otherwise, you may have to consider the suggestion above regarding the '88-91 Prelude B20A engine.

the 88-91 one you want is JDM NOT US MARKET, i believe it was also found in accords over there as well, and it is a different engine than what you find here..
