Default Cable to hydraulic conversion D16Z6

Okay, so I'm swapping a D16Z6 in to my 88 Civic Hatch. I had a cable clutch/transmission and now putting a hydraulic clutch/transmission in. I don't want to swap the pedal and I also don't want to pay $200+ for a conversion kit. I've shopped around on eBay and came across the two brackets that hook up to the transmission, so my question is... do I need more than just those two brackets?. What do yall suggest?

Much appreciated 😊👍

If you don't want to swap the pedal and you don't want to pay $200 for a conversion kit, you'll have to figure out how to mount the hydraulic portion of the set up into your car and figure out if the master cylinder will attach to your existing pedal. I/we can't comment on those two brackets yet as you haven't specified what exactly they are.

Thanks for posting the link, that's specifically to bypass the hydraulic conversion. You'd mount that in front and attach your existing clutch cable to it. I believe you'll still need the actual mounts to correctly place the transmission. But that would be all you need. No swapping pedals, no slave/master cylinder conversion, no hydraulic lines, etc.

No problem and thanks.

Do you know if that mount is sold by itself or will I have to buy a set?

I'm sure you can find it separately but I can't promise you it'll be cheap or within your price range. I've seen it on craigslist used including the cable conversion mount for $100ish recently.

Yeah, I've been shopping around. Just might have to suck it up and spend the money. Thanks man!
