dual bosch 044. Fuel pressure way too high
Whats going on everybody..
How are you guys running your dual Bosch 044 pumps while maintaining proper fuel pressure?
I'm currently running dual bosch 044 fuel pumps and my fuel pressure is way too high (80 psi with both pumps on).
When i turn off one pump the pressure drops to about 43 psi.
When both pumps are running i cannot adjust my AEM fpr lower than 80 psi.
Here is my set up:
Dual pumps with -8 AN feed ---> They merge into a -10 an feed ---> AEM fuel rail ---> AEM fpr ---> -8 AN return line.
I'm wondering if a voltage regulator would fix the problem?
Bad fuel pressure regulator?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

get a FPR with larger ports that is not sitting on the rail. the AEM unit is good, but the rail mounted one is hte biggest restriction in your system right now. With dual pumps you are flowing 600ish liters per hour! Also make sure your fuel filter can support that much flow.
sounds good! I really like the AEM regulator for slightly more than stock setups due to packaging and convenience, but with a setup like yours it's just not enough.
