Default Fuel Pressure Regulator question..

I need a fuel pressure regulator that can:

1)allow u to adjust base fuel pressure
2)rises 1:1 under boost
3)bolts up to stock fuel rail
4)allows u to run stock fuel lines

does a fuel pressure regulator exist that qualify's in all of these catagories?

The AEM does all of that. It has received some bad press, but I have yet to have anyone confirm that it sucks.

BTW, all fuel pressure regulators rise 1:1 under boost

I use the AEM FPR on my Civic and it works fine. As Dustin said, it will do all of the things you require so go get it!

i think the initial batch of fpr they sold had a faulty diaphragm which caused it to leak fuel. since then, AEM has corrected that problem.
I have the AEM fpr for over a year now and no probs with leaks.

plus its a direct bolt on

i recommend aem also ... a bit pricey but you don't have to modify anything to install it ... should take you like 10 mins max.

Yeah, 10 minutes if you don't have to remove the throttle cable bracket like I did! On my D16Y8 it was not just a quickie job!

Holley also makes one that bolts to the fuel rail. I use it with no problems at all. Here's the link http://www.holley.com/HiOctn/ProdLin.../f512-506.html

I was looking at the AEM and I'd be willig to give it a try. I have given it the bad press in the past but it looks pretty good now. Plus, its cheaper than the Aeromotive.

art were on the same boat, from what ive read the aem is fine as long as you stick w/ low fp levels. the aeromotive looks so sweet though, too bad it costs so freaking much to get it installed correctly.i'm a broke *** fool, so i'm going w/ the aem for now.
