Did you replace them recently? If not were they working properly before?

The bulb might be dead, It will have 3 bulbs, one lights up when you hit the brake, check those, have a buddy press the brake pedal while the bulbs are out the tail light sockets to confirm if there turning on or not.

You must have missed a fuse or didn't check correctly. The only way your tail lights wont power on as you describe is if a fuse is blown. The brake lamp and headlights are on their own independent fuse links, which is why they're still functional. The parking lamp fuse is what you're looking for.

which fuse number is the parking lamp fuse? i'm having the exact same problem and when I found a fuse that was blown for the starter signal it was blown, I replaced it, and still no tail lights.

I this problem, my lights were real funky.

(With the lights switched on), find the wiring harness's that plug into the taillights, take each wire that go into the socket and wiggle them/try to push them into the socket (they get pulled out when previous owners carelessly unplug them by tugging on the wires).

It's the 10a fuse next to the starter signal. If you change the fuse and the lights still dont turn on, chances are its blown again. That means somewhere you have a short amongst the 3 light circuits listed for that fuse. Maybe a broken bulb, melted bulb holder, exposed wires touching, poor wire connections from an alarm or sidemarker install? Those are a few possibilities. It's tough to diagnose an issue like this without seeing the car and knowing if anything had been done to the car prior to the lights not functioning.
