Bump stops
Hi guys, I recently bought Eibach Lowering Springs (used ones) and Koni STR.T (new) for my EJ9.
I didn't know what was suppose to come along with springs or shocks at the time so I just brought it all to my mechanic who told me that I should install bumpstops to avoid any problem in some major pot hole or something like that.
So, unlike Jeremy Clarkson, I went on the internet and found nothing (conclusive), it's most likely my lack of knowledge but....anyway...
Can anyone indicate me which bump stops I should get, reference, etc?
This is a photo os the suspension being assembled. Thanks for your time, I've already had nightmares becuase of this

Do you think these ones would do?

If they are needed Eibach provides new bump stops with their springs. If they are not provided, then the factory ones are able to be reused.
I would contact them to see what they recommend.

When I removed the OEM suspension, one of them (bump stops) fell apart, the other didn't exist, other was half gone and only one in "good" shape.
I'm gonna try to contact them. I'll just have to confirm the spring reference because I forgot to wRite it down before installing it.

I've already seen that page but my problem is also not knowing which bump stop size I should go for. I've already sent them a PM to see if they can help me. Fingers crossed...

The bump stops in that link are for the motorsport line and not everything they have.
Call 800-222-8811
Tell them what car you have and ask if they provided bump stops or if they used the factory ones.
Or post the part# of the springs you bought and I can tell you.

The Springs are Eibach 90439
Just get two new oem bumpstops and trim them to half size and use them in the front only. Those springs shouldn't be low enough to need anything more. And also you should never have any issues with the rear because there isn't enough weight to bottom the shocks out. I only run two on my track car like this and it's been great.
