tunerview 2 with crome pro
ok so im at my whits end with this tunerview 2, for the life of me i can not get it to connect and read data from the cn2 port. im running the latest version of crome (1.6.13) have verified the cn2 is putting out the correct voltages for each pin. have done everything on hrtunings website list for help and still no connection. what could possibly be the problem here. kinda disappointed that i cant get it working.
Screen shots of settings would help... Also, is this a new or used unit? If used, what are the cable pinouts on each end? How about which port on the TV are you using?
You didn't give much for details and that's what matters.

The tv2 is brand new, im using the bottom port which is for direct connection to the ecu. Verified that the data cable was pinned correctly.

I'll post this again, I have done everything posted on hrtuning website in there help section, searched the interwebs for countless hours and still have nothing. Everything on the tv2 is setup correctly to use with crome. It simply will not connect. So from your information or what you have provided has not been of any help but aggravation because you don't comprehend I've done all there is to do. Need to word it any differently?
More than likely you're not running the Crome Datalogging Script 2.0 which the website mentions is required.

I have tried loading the link that is provided in your " help" section and it always fails to load whether I'm on my phone or laptop.
I just bought crome, but is using Hulog. If its the same, when you istalled tunerview check which COM port number your laptop have assigned it to your laptop under device manager. Click/Look for your assigned COM in laptop and remember the "bit per second" number. Then look for Advanced tab at the bottom and go into it and change "Lantecy to 1 as it would normally be 16.
Open crome and go File/Settings/Tuner Comm. Set your "baud" to the Laptops "bit per second" number and choose the correct COM port number you was assigned to. Cilck ok (Tip: Dont click Test Connection as it dont work).
You should be ready to load your map to device and start tuning.

Appears pgmfi website has been down since 6-2-15, maybe that has something to do with getting the correct data logging script needed.
Yup, no clue what I am doing since I set all three of mine up fine (as well as a couple dozen others) with my CROME Dealer and HONDATA. I really have to stop making all these threads asking for help. I do apologize for being a hindrance to the productivity of this thread. Good luck.
Perhaps if you apologize to OneBadTurboCRV he'll be willing to help you out with that.
Start with a fresh P30 USDM rom, install Crome's existing Quick Datalogger 2 (QD2) protocol plugin. I've done it on 6 different ecus with 6 different tunerviews just like that. As long as you chipped the ecu correctly and connect to the right port on the tunerview, it'll work.
By the way, IT DOES NOT WORK WITH THE GOLD ROM.
