Got my car dynoed!
Went to the dyno on friday to tune my car at 13 psi, but couldn't get it to boost that high. It kept spiking up to 14 from 4-6k rpm and dropping down to 10-11 psi from 6-8k rpm. This is on a gsr greddy kit and the end result was 261 whp / 192 lbs torque. I expected higher hp numbers, but the torque seems decent. Do you guys think its my TurboXS boost controller that is causing the problem or is it the internal wastegate preventing me from boosting above 11. Ill try to get a dyno sheet posted.
I run a 18G kit with the same manual boost controller.

Get an electronic controller and go back to the dyno. I run 10psi spikes and back down to 7psi full boost.

Yeah It seems like most greddy turbos Ive dealed with that are internally gated have around a 3psi spike in them. Ive got the profec a on my 15G and still spike around 2-3psi.
