97 integra Ls/GSR overheating under boost pulled head pics below
My integra has been overheating under boost, did a block test for gasses in the cooling system nothing did a dry compression test results were something like 150 180 175 180 i changed the radiator/water pump/all coolant hoses and thermostat with no luck radiator spewing anti freeze all over when cap is off and warmed up so i finally pulled the head and i noticed a slight what looks to be crack/indentation and 1 loose apr stud pics below please tell me your thoughts and diagnosis thanks
Well if a stud was loose i would guess thats where the leak was. I can't really tell from the pic on the crack so i can't say anything about that or if it will effect anything but it wont hurt to try and replace the head gasket and re set the studs and try it again.
get rid of that stupid block guard and look up how badly the hampers the coolant system, that's old school tech just like those vafc ****. CSS is the standard now
Yup and stop coolant flow pretty much, it does a poor job all around there's much better tech now. Only companies that still sell them really blox and bwr which are both knock off kings to start with.
