Default Ls-vtec over heating! Searched. Please help!

Coolant boils out my reservoir.
Before I added the turbo it never over heated at least from what I could tell.
Upper radiator hose is hot- aprox 190 degrees
Bottom radiator hose is cool to touch- aprox 100
I first replaced the thermostat thinking it was stuck...but it still boiled out of the reservoir.
I then took out the thermostat and it took longer but eventually boiled out.
The mechanic said coolant isnt flowing through the head- so I flushed it with the hose both ways through the block and head with water which didnt seem to have a problem going through it.
I then started it with radiator hose undone to see if the water pump was pumping. It pumped the remaining water out of the block and head.
Local Honda thinks the wrong head gasket could be on it blocking coolant.-could this be right since it didnt over heat prior to the turbo?
Any suggestions would help. Thanks.

Just a thought, but maybe a clogged heater core?

Are you SURE no water is flowing through the head?
Almost kinda sounds like a blown headgasket with the combustion gasses leaking into the cooling system causing the bubbles.
Is the car using any coolant?
Do all your spark plugs look the same? Alotta times the cylinder that has the blown section of gasket will be different colored than the rest, like green for coolant.
