Default GSR Turbo idle too high! NEED HELP!

Hey guys I got a GSR turbo that for some reason idles at about 1200 and then once driving it idles at about 3000 when I'm at a stop and won't come back down. What can be the reason for this! Need help ASAP because I can't drive it like this on the streets at 3000rpm idle

Vacuum leak, or failed IACV. Is your CEL on? Does it work? Disconnect your intake piping, and start the car. If you cover the hole inside the throttle body with your finger, does the idle drop down?

I'm running a bbk manifold and the two vacuum ports by the iacv are closed and the other three are in use with No leaks... IACV screen is dirty and going to clean it. No codes...

I cleaned it and turned it on unplugged and it wouldn't idle properly. Then I plugged it back in and it idled at about 1200. Once I drove it, the idle would come back down to about 1800-2000. Lower than before the cleaning but still too high... Why does it do this?

Probably for the same reason that you can't answer a simple question. Remove intake piping. Start car. Use finger to block IACV port within throttle body. Does the idle drop? Have you used a smoke machine, or some kind of aerosol spray to definitively confirm that there are no vacuum leaks?

Smoke tested car here at work. No leaks found. I haven't tried to remove the intake piping. I will try this. If the idle drops what does it mean? If it doesn't drop what does it mean?

Just cover the turbo with your hand

If it dies it doesnt have a leak

If it stays on youll hear where the leak is

Dont be a *****

If the idle drops, it means your IACV has failed, or you have a leaking gasket either at the IACV, or the throttle body. If it doesn't drop, then that means you have a leak somewhere that you aren't seeing, or you didn't a poor job of setting base idle.
