ok so it wasent the idle control vavle..ive checked every sensor and every vacum nipple..the intake manifoldit tight.. i took the charge pipe off and put my hand over the tb and the motor shut right off...im stumped...can it be in the tune anyways..my tuner says its a small vaccum leak but i unhooked the blowoff vacumm line and left it open and it picked up 500 rpm..so it has to be something else to make it idle so high...any ideas guys

It's strange how it's come from nowhere. A map shouldn't just change.

I'm not sure what age your engine is so not sure if it has the FITV (Fast idle thermo valve), but if it has, take that to pieces and clear it out.

It does sound like the symptoms of a vacuum leak... does it hunt at all or are the revs just steady all the time? Could a pipe of split anywhere around the inlet mani?

im having the same issue. almost positive its a vac leak even though im having trouble finding it.

do you have a boost/vac gauge? ive noticed that im only getting 20" at warm idle when i normally get 22", further indicating a leak
