alright i have a honda civic ex 99 with a swapped d16y7 motor but the engine harness is missing some connections like the idle sensor. i have been trying to find a harness for it but ive had no luck finding it. i found one but its for a automatic transmission and i have a manual i was wondering if it would fit on my civic or if anyone knows or has one i can buy. please help!

You'll need a 99-00 DX/LX harness if you want it to mostly plug and play. Auto or manual shouldn't matter, if you use auto you'll have some extra trans sensors left over but its no issue. Honestly you can just use your harness and convert the IACV sensor connector to 3 wire and do the necessary extra wiring. If you need the 3 wire connector get one from a junkyard for a couple of bucks or PM me

Yeah that's why I said 99-00 in my earlier post, you can't use that 98 harness. For one the distributor plug is wrong but even worse it won't work at all with your interior harness.
