does my subframe look bent? (pics)
1998 civic dx coupe d16y7
look where the lower control arm connects to the subframe (not the compliance bushing point)
these images are the left side only. but the right side kinda looks the same
check out my alignment numbers: https://honda-tech.com/suspension-br...nment-3246893/
my plans for the future are bswap with oem lsd. i may have to replace subframe while the engine and trans is out. i don't know how i feel about getting a used one from a junkyard because i wont know if that one is bent too
one thing is for absolute sure: once i do the bswap and subframe replacement, this civic will no longer be a daily driver and it wont be driven in rain or snow or bad weather of any kind. because i am not going to drive fast on bad roads and hit pot holes. i will be the guy holding up traffic going slow because i don't want to mess up my suspension
however, bswap isn't happening anytime soon. that's a goal for the distant future. but it is gonna happen before i die

i'm not getting another alignment until i have more bushing and arm work done. idk if i should replace the front lower control arm or just get new bushings for it. i seem to have a problem with being too worried about if things are bent. is ordering oem replacement control arms the best thing to do? or is it a complete rip off? are there any good aftermarket front lower control arms? what about front upper control arms (with ball joints) i don't want adjustable "camber kit" ones
