i got new valves intsalled and after that my car wasnt idling until i hold the gas.
can this be because i need a valve adjustment? i also have a engine code thats p0331 for the intake sensor, i never had the sensor and i never got the light come on before, can this problem be making my engine not idle?

any thing i should check to see why it could be running like this? all the sensors are in the right place they came out of.

the only way i can make my car idle is if i remove the hose coming from the firewall to the back of the intake but as soon as i cover it with my thumb or connect the hose its will die out slowly.

any help or advice would be much appricated.

 

If you had the valves replaced then yes you will deff need to check and set the valve lash!

I believe the code p0331 is for the knock sensor! yopu might have a bad knock sensor.

make sure the iACV is plugged in and not switched with another plug, i think theres another plug in that area that can reach and plugs in.
