Default Condenser fan re wire.

Hi fellas, i have a question, can i connect my condenser fan to my radiator fan? i dont know why it doesnt come on with the AC, howeve if apply electricity from the battery, it runs, is my rad fan relay capable to hold both fans? can i connect both relays to a same power circuit by connecting the condenser fan just before the rad relay? im only wanting to do this while im able to take the car to a shop and have it repaired. thank you

When you turn your AC on, does the compressor start spinning as well? Because if there isn't enough refrigerant pressure in the system to engage the compressor clutch then its not going to turn the fans on either.

thank you, yes, the compressor works perfectly, i can use my ac when the car is going fast, its cold, but when it stops or i decrease speed, its hot air coming from the vents.

Would be my next suggestion. Check the fuse/s in the AC system and and test the relay/s.

ok, so i checked the fuses, 4 and 8 under kick panel, 34 under hood, checked the relay by closing the circuit directly with the battery and it clicks, right now i dont have a voltmeter, what should i do next?

i must also add, since the first post, (i forgot) my radiator fan comes on AS SOON as i put the key in the ON position, even in the morning. whats up with that.

If your ac is on that is normal but the condenser fan should run also.

Multimeters are cheap, I'm not sure where you are but the ones at Harbor Freight aren't garbage and everything is made in China anyway unless you're buying a Fluke. That said, if your rad fan comes on right away, I'd suspect the coolant temp sensor, or the temperature switch for the fan, if it exists, is stuck closed.

...makes me think 1 of 2 things:
- we've got the terms wrong for the fans
- you've got them wired backwards.

Standing at the front of the car, peering down into the motor bay: The left side is the cooling fan, the right side is the condenser fan.
The left side should turn on at normal operating temperature, and can even come on when the motor is off, to help cool the motor.
The right side should turn on when you turn your A/C on.

thank you, i got exactly as you stated, the left one (cooling) comes on when i put the key in the ON position, even if the engine is morning cold, the condenser fan (on the right) does not come on when the AC is on, the compressor kicks in though.

ok, so i did something, i swap relays, put the cooling fan relay in the place of the ac fan relay and viceversa, this is what happened, when i turned my car on, both fans were working now, but when i push the ac button, compressor didnt kicked in and the fan stoped. what can i do next, are both relays ok or what?
