Default mini me build B7 bottom Z6 top

About to get my hands on a decent B7 block and was thinking about doing a rebuild and trying a Z6 head on it as well, now I know a few things about the swap but there are a few things I still don't know. I will be staying with the auto Trans as it will be a dd, I need to know if I need a auto p28 ecu and ex harness? And if so would I also have to use the Z6 dizzy plugs wires and intake? I heard the y8 head gasket is the best to use but I'm not sure. I know I'll need after market headers any input is appreciated.
Thanks-Derek

Sounds like a normal mini me swap to me so check the FAQ's for part listings. You don't need an EX harness you'll just need to wire up VTEC solenoid and pressure switch. Use the Auto P28 ECU. The rest should plug and play. You don't need a Z6 intake manifold but it will help with performance. As far as head gaskets it won't make that much of a difference just make sure you go with OEM for the best fit. You'll have to use the Z6 spark plug wires as they differ from the B7's. You don' need an aftermarket header just reuse yours.
