Z6 is OBD1, thats more work for you in terms of having to get a p28 and a jumper harness. Plus it compromises your legality of being OBD2, depedning on your local emissions laws.

Screw a Y8 head. They suck.

Z6 dist
Y8 headgasket
Y7/Y8/Z6 timing belts are all the same.
You'll need to repin the dist using your stock Y7 dist plug. The two big wires won't fit so you'll need to solder them.
You'll need to run wires for the VTEC solenoid and VTEC pressure.
Might have to run a wire for the tach. I didn't bother to figure it out so I ran a wire to the drivers side fender connector.
You'll need to rewire the IACV.
You also need to put a 16* mark for TDC on the crank pulley as the Z6 runs on 16* versus 12*. Set your timing on this.
