Rear shock bolt pushing out LCA bushings
I just installed Progress cs2 coilovers (92-00) and BWR LCAs (96-00) on my 1997 Si (usdm EX). When I was tightening the rear shock bolts the LCA bushings were coming out of the LCAs. The bushings sat flush to the LCA before install. I have used the correct bolts, washers, spacers and nuts as per thr Progress CS2 instructions. Anyone know what is going wrong?

We're those brackets lose when you put them around the bushings? Should be a tight squeeze. Also to I think the lcas and strut brackets are direction at least the stock 1s are
Not a tight squeeze. The shocks fit 92-00. They would be a tight squeeze for 92-95, but they require use of the supplied spacers for 96-00. The spacers were a bit of a tight squeeze to get in. I did not see any markings on the LCAs or the shocks that specified right from left. The instructions didn't mention that either.
BWR website says this: "EK: 4 tall bushings, 2 short bushings, 1 tall sleeve, 2 short sleeves." Perhaps you have a long sleeve in that location but it should be a short sleeve?
I've got the same Progress setup on my EG and it fit nice and snug on the OEM arms.

It seems the spacers provided by bwr would only work with oem style LCAs. Most aftermarket LCAs use these loose type of bushings that require either the shock fork or larger diameter spacers to abut them in order to keep them in place.
When using this style of 96-00 LCAs and bushings along with 92-00 shocks, you need larger diameter spacers. The spacers supplied by Progress are smaller than the inner hole of the BWR LCA bushing and so the bushing was able to slide over the spacer.
As a quick fix, I needed 3/8" hole and 1-1/2" outer diameter washers (3 washers on each side of the LCA bushings) to fill the gap between the shock fork and the LCA bushing. 3 washers were about 5mm thick, filling the gap on either side of the LCA bushings. I used this in place of the Progress supplied spacers. These washers now keep the bushings tight in the LCA.
Apparently Skunk2 sells their 92-00 shocks with these larger diameter spacers since they also sell LCAs with this type of bushing.

Relevant car information is required. Please edit your first post with car year/make/model/trim and mods.
92-95 rear LCA's vary depending on model. Some are directional some aren't.
Then 96-00 is a different beast altogether.
Solid advice cannot be given on a generic generation question due to these variations in the generation.
Additional information can be found in the rules sticky at the top of this forum.
Thanks.
