Default Transmission Help

I bought a LS tranny for 100$ guy says it grinds 3rd , how hard is it to replace 3rd gear & how much will it cost me ?

if you are going to have 3rd replaced, you might as well buy a whole new synchro set and do the whole shtick which will run you around $200ish plus whatever labor costs (unless you do it yourself)

you might as well if you are going all the way into it (or paying good money for someone else to open it up and do the work)

is it a hard job to do ? because me & my friend might decided to just do it ourselves we know our way around tools but never that amount of a challenge

Actually, I'd recommend a Honda service manual.
You can easily pay one of those off with a few repair jobs for yourself or others.
