Default Coolant leaking from the rear of engine - 92 DA B18 LS non vtec

I realize this is a very old thread. And i havent logged on for years but a quick google search and here we are. Anyways i have this same exact problem. Coolant dripping very consistently under the car got under could only trace it to the black box above the oil filter. And from up top nothing as well. After reading this thread i couldnt accept the fact that my freeze plug cracked or went kaput. So started checking all the little 3/8 coolant lines and bam!!! There it is. Goes from the t-stat housing to the intake manifold you could never tell by looking at it that there was a huge gash on the bottom. A bit of a pita to take out but not so bad once i removed the intake.

The small hose on the right with the rusted clamp.

It is the U shaped heater hose that connects under the intake Manifold.

I highly suggest investing in a set of Silicon hoses from ebay or amazon for $60 shipped.

Once one hose goes the others will start failing shortly after. I noticed improved cooling from my amazon samco hoses

By the looks of the picture the Large U hose that goes fromt he head to the thermostat housing looks dry, while the smaller hose just to the right that goes from the head to the FITV looks wet and the clamp is rusty looking..... Really hard to say without actually being able to feel around and look at things.

Being you didn't post any car information I am guessing based off of no vtec solenoid and there is a FITV there that it's a D15B7/B8/Z1 engine from the 92-95 series.

Here is the coolant hoses for those motors:

Just being pedantic, but that does rule out the D15Z1.

Here is the culprit. thats the underside of it. The rusty clamp caught my eye and it also look wet i could literally feel coolant dripping on my finger when i stuck my hand in there.

DA is Integra and explains a B18...

So this thread is in the wrong forum. Moving to the Integra forum.

I'm sure your car is due for a complete overhaul on all heater, bypass, radiator hoses.....its a DA.
