Icon2 Turbo 2000 civic si

Hey guys quick question ..... Im going with a turbo here soon i got all i need ...all i want to know is, since i bought an obd2 to ob1 conversion harness and a chipped p28 ecu ... Will vtec still kick in as it always has if i change the ecu????

Ah, the "chipped" ECU. VTEC will kick in once its tuned properly.

It won't "kick in" at all if it's tuned properly. It will just activate / engage in a smooth transition.

Exactly.. I could have made my statement clearer to reflect this sentiment. It will activate, but a good tune will have it activate in a smoother manner.

OP just wants a GT35R with VTEC kicking in right when the turbo spools, so the torque steer can rip the car into a ditch for him.
