2002 Accord, Manual - Clutch sticks to floor
Quick question in regards to my clutch problem.
I let my friend borrow my car overnight and he brought it back reporting to me that the clutch was sticking to the floor (unengaged, for the most part.) I was able to drive it home by starting in second and once I picked up speed could shift by lifting the clutch pedal with my toe.
The fluid reservoir is full and I can't see any visible leaks. However, the fluid is dirty.
I plan on replacing the Clutch Master and Slave. The question is: most everything I've read online reports that the cylinders going bad is a gradual process. I've had the clutch stick once or twice before, but not in several months before my friend drove it. Should I be preparing for something else being the problem?
