clutch/trans issues - clutch engages with pedal near the floor
Hello I have a 95 civic coupe with a mini me swap in it and a manual trans. The trans has a exedy stage1 clutch in it and has been great for the past 3yrs. Today I got in my car and noticed the engage point on the clutch pedal os only about a inch to two inches off the floor. Also now it is having a hard time goint into first and and reverse. And ideas? It does not seem like the clutch is slipping and I have not noticed any low fluid levels on it either. Any and all help is appreaciated. Thank youfyoufellow HT ppl.

Re: clutch/trans issues
Check for a fluid leak at the top of the clutch pedal from the clutch master cylinder. If so, replace.
It could also be caused by air in the hydraulic system, or a bad slave cylinder.

As sated above check the slave. It's prob leaking and u haven't noticed it because its leaking inside the car , down firewall and soaking into ur carpet More than likely , only thing it could b if u know ur clutch is good/ new for sure. Good luck.

Also I have noticed recently when I push my clutch pedal in there is a squeeking noise. Is this also a sign the master cylender is leaking?

Yes ^ but civics clutch pedal squeaking is quite normal. The 2 ive owned did it and my buddies does too. But def check the master.
