Default 92 civic dx hatch - brakes upgrade question

I have a 92 hatch but as for brakes what would be my best bet for a upgrade . I'm wanting disc but don't sant to spend 1k on the big brake setups . Its going to be a weekend car but just asking advise . I bought a del sol si for donor but not sure I want those or teggy brakes .

Just looking for some advise from people and see what has a better life on brake and overall feel . Please leave me some feed back on this topic . This is a non track car just a cruiser

I have 96 dx and just went to the junkyard and pulled the knuckle/caliper assembly off of an EX as well as the brake cylinder. So you will go from a 9.5 to a 10.2 inch rotor and I used hawk pads with stock rotors. Oh and its mainly for autocross. Could feel a huge difference. I want to say I paid 70 for the entire driver and passenger assembly. You will need the knuckles with those calipers
