Deep Sleeper - Turbo CR-V
I want to show you my daily driver, deep sleeper. It's a 2004 CR-V, engine swapped to a K24 out of a Euro Accord Type S. The CR-V in Europe only comes with a lame K20A4 Engine.
It's a very simple Setup, the sleeves are stock, just Pistons and rods installed into the block - the rest of the engine is stock.
Turbocharger is a Garrett GT3076 with the smaller T04E compressor housing - i just had this one laying around.
The weak link in my setup is a cast manifold. Yes, i know ...
The complete exhuast had to made custom, cause you cannot get ready made 3" exhaust for the CR-V.
The intercooler is Water-to-Air. It's easier to install, in the heavy *** CR-V some more weight does not really count and i want to know how well or bad it works. And it works not too bad for me!
It's tuned on a stock ECU with ProECU-K.
This really simple setup puts down 472HP (crank) until the stock fuelsystem with 1000ID and 340 Aeromotive Stealth Pump maxes out. In daily use i put down the boost a bit and run 408HP (crank).
Instead of gauges i use an Android Tablet with DroiDash-K, dashboard software. It displays even Oiltemp, Oilpressure and EGT which are connected to the ECU. the coolest is, i can switch the boost tables on the Tablet, too!
It was build over a year ago and daily driven!
Next plans: upgrade Fuelsystem, better Manifold
Hope you like my Daily Sleeper

I love it! I think your Honda Accord is our Acura TL? So is that a K24A2? Correct me if I'm wrong.
I'm looking into turbocharging or supercharging my 2nd Gen, but I'm looking into something that's CARB legal, since I live in CA. I want to be able to past emissions tests and whatnot, so unfortunately I can't just piece a system together...
Love your setup, hopefully I can get there one day!
