Default throttle body hose

Hi. I have a 2000 Honda civic ex with a b16a2 swap. I had to go to the reff today (stupid California smog laws) and he pointed out one hose that was plugged coming from my throttle body. He gave me a diagram of where its supposed to go and there is no spot thats missing a hose. Could i just tie it in to any coolant hose?

Post several well-focused pictures of the hoses and nipples in those specific locations of your engine.

The one you circled appears to be the fitv.

Do you have an fitv on the bottom of your throttle body?

The stock B16A2 doesn't have a FITV.

Is that just a throttle body warming hose in the diagram?

I'm having problems orienting my view in your pictures. The B16a2 throttle body in the exploded diagram I posted has 3 nipples to connect hoses. Nipple #1 at the top of the TB points to the firewall as does nipple #2 at the bottom of the TB. Nipple #3 at the bottom of the TB points toward the front of the car. Which nipple # has the bolt in the hose? Can you post pictures of the other nipples and also assign #s to them.

Thats not where it suppose to go. That FITV hose needs to go to the head and not where you circled it on the intake manifold.

Tried to upload a picture of where I'm sure its suppose to go but its failing on me. If you look at Ron's image upload look closely at where the UPPER radiator hose goes you'll see a nipple there. Can you verify that on your engine setup?

Maybe I missed something. Where did you see a FITV in the picture?

If a FITV is present on the TB, then the OP's B16a2 is not stock.

This one picture should show you where the bottom hose off the throttle body goes. there should be a nipple next the the hose that goes from the thermostat to intake manifold but there isnt

I know exactly where its supposed to go. the nipples i circled are the exact one the Reff had highlighted on the diagram he gave me. concidering hes the CA smog Referee i trust him but there is no nipple where he highlighted.

That area you keep showing me is where the lower radiator hose goes, take a picture of the upper radiator hose connecting to the head.

You're probably running all kinds of non obd2 compliant anonymous parts on that car because a b16a2 does not have an FITV. I'm surprise your ref didn't point that out. I mean he is a certified CA ref so he should be the almighty god of obd2 compliantness.

Ron, looking at your image of the thermostat housing and comparing it to Honda oem parts site I see some differences.

AS TO WHY YOUR NIPPLE LOOKS SAW OFF I have no clue. but that is the way its suppose to be routed, From throttlebody to the upper radiator hose
