Default Does my left axle look wrong? h22 crx

H22 in crx running hasport mounts and axles. Left axle (passenger side over here in the UK but drivers side in U.S) seems a little tight. Is there anything I can do about this?

If you have a traction Bar adjust it.

If you Don't have a traction Buy one.

Then start from there.

I do have a full race traction bar. I'll try adjusting it, thanks for the advice.

any h-series swap is going to have an extreme axle angle such as that. lowering the car will increase it and raising the car will decrease it to some extent

its just how it is when doing h-series into a chassis other than accord or prelude

Ok thanks for the reply. They say you should be able to push the axle in from the hub about 1/8th of an inch but both sides are very tight (zero movement) with the left being the tighter of the two. Is there no shorter axles available? I was considering taking the axles to a machine shop and having either some shorter ones made or having a few mm shaved off the CV joint cup/housing to give more clearance. Until I get the car running im hoping its not as bad as it looks. I did take it to a well known engine builder in the UK and he said the axles didnt fit. Upon getting the car back from him I managed to get the axles to fit but I wonder if what he meant was they fit but dont look like they will work properly. I know a guy called 2point2 managed to get a h22 turbo crx setup to work so im wondering what he did to get this to work. Does anyone have links to his build thread?

Thanks for the help

Hey Ash, I did speak to maz and he recommended some driveshafts called insane. Problem is ive bought the hasport axles and mounts already so want to try and make these work. I would of gone with h2b if the adaptor plates weren't so expensive. For now I just want to get the car running then I can upgrade the shafts and look into h2b.
