h22 cb7 w/ p28 auto to standard conversion cel 30?
Been battling this thing for about a week now. The ecu's I do have are one chipped auto p28 and a chipped converted auto p28 ( I removed rp17 and rp18, replaced rp18 with 0ohm resistor). Auto ecu I throw code 19 converted ecu I throw code 30. Any ideas would be great. Thanks

It's an h22a4 out of a 1998 prelude with h2a5 accord trans (m2s4 on the kitchen floor for whenever my clutch goes or second gets anyworse)

What software are you using to program the chip? If you are using Crome, try copying all of your fuel/ignition tables into a new P30 rom/bin and see if it clears the problem.

P30 rom in my p28? Not sure why a standard p28 is so difficult to find but how I understood it was that if you jump rp18 then the p28 will act as a standard ecu vs an auto

Ended up being my map, I had the signal and power wire backwards... my bad. This thing was a wiring nightmare when I got it. After lots of patience and you lovely folks here at Honda tech I finally got to see what vtec is all about. First Honda thanks for all the threads that made it happen.
