Clutch Master Reservoir Hose Size
I'm remote locating a clutch master cylinder so need about three feet of reservoir hose. Honda doesn't sell bulk, from what I can tell, so does anyone know the hose size? It's non-pressure so not critical, just the inner diameter so I can find brake line here locally. Early 90's Civic clutch master and reservoir.
Thanks

Unfortunately it's a couple of hours away at my son's house. He travels during the week so I assemble parts here and take them over, then we work on the weekend. If I had the m/c here I'd measure it, of course, and if I had to guess I'd also guess the mm equivalent of about a quarter inch. But since we don't get a chance to exchange parts on weekends if I make a guess and it's not right we have to wait another week until I can get it right. So I hoped someone might know off hand and save us a week. Sorry, maybe I should have explained it a little better.
Early 90's Civic, say 1993. It's the reservoir hose in that drawing, I believe part number 46971-S04-A01, but I need about three feet of it to relocate the reservoir. I thought someone here would know the size off-hand, but if not I'll just go to the dealer to buy that hose, measure it, return it, and then buy the appropriate hose at NAPA. I hoped I could avoid all that and just buy the bulk hose.
By the way, this is going into a Porsche 914 with a Subaru WRX engine and transmission. We modified the Porsche pedal cluster from a cable to hydraulic using the Honda clutch master, but it's way under the car so we need to relocate reservoir for access. It's operating the stock Subaru clutch slave. Maybe that will explain a little more, and we have absolutely no need to remain OEM since nothing else is either.
Thanks

Have you checked at a local auto parts store? If they sell it, you can measure and then ask if they sell in bulk.
The part number for the 93 Civic is 46971-SR3-A00. Is there a reason you are being vague about the Civic year?

OK, it's actually an aftermarket Sachs SH5036 for a 1992-2000 Civic 1.6L.

I explained that in an earlier post. The clutch master, car and everything else is two, almost three hours from here. I buy parts here during the week, take them there, work on the car with my son over the weekend, then return home. There's no possibility of measuring parts until I get there, so I had hoped someone here would know the hose size so I could buy the hose now to take there this weekend to avoid another week lost to back-and-forth.
If I had the measurements, I'd post them.
Option - Go to auto parts store and ask to see the clutch MC/reservoir kit for the year Civic. Match bulk hose to hose that comes with the kit.

Yeah, as mentioned in an earlier thread, I'll do that if I can't find an answer here, but I'd hoped I could avoid wasting a counterman's time, and it seemed like such a simple question...
Waste? He'll end up making a sale for the bulk hose, if the store stocks it. If it is not stocked by the store, it's not your fault but you will have the information you need. Bring your ruler/tape measure.

Yeah, again, you don't know, and that's fine, but maybe someone else does. So I'll give it some time and if it turns out no one does then that's what I'll do.
