Default Getting positive on fog light housing (solved)

For some reason i couldn't find out why my fuse for my fog lights kept blowing until i found out that my housing on my fog light is getting positive power. For some reason i don't know why i checked my wiring and it looks good to me the way how it's suppose to be wire but now everytime i put on my bumper the fuse will blow because the fog housing is getting positive feed n the ground is the frame does anyone know why the fog housing is getting positive feed?

Does it work without the bumper on the car? the reason i ask is because by your description it does. If that's the case then something is shorting out when you install it

The best bet is to check all the wiring at the housing and the bulbs to ensure no cuts or grounding

It works perfectly fine on with the bumper not on but if i take the bumper off and take a test light the test light will light up on the housing of the fogs

Kind of sounds like your positive and ground are reversed. when you instal the bumper its grounding to the chassis

Are these Ebay fog lights? They may have pinned the connectors backwards.

Hooking your bumper up does nothing to add power to ground, its not metal. Plugging in the foglight house during the process of re-installing the bumper may cause a circuit short because of poor wiring. You need to check your wiring and check the insdie of the foglight housing.

Sounds like an internal short to ground in the housing.

Problem solved
The connecter for the fogs positive n ground was too close to eachother and i guess it will either touch or something n it will power the negaive some how so everytime i put the bumper on the ground was being power n blow the fuse ( fog frame was the ground
