I have a golden sleeved block which was o ringed with stainless o ring and I want to switch to copper. The usual pick tool method is not going to work on this. Anyone have experience removing them????

I found this method online but am iffy about drilling the sleeve

 

Sounds easy enough to me.

And I highly doubt it would hurt anything. I would do it if it were me lol
