Does the speedo move? If so an axle popped out of the trans (it will only have come out about 1/4" or so) or the axle is broken (usually the outer joint) If not suspect blown diff.

94EG8 beat me to the punch.
Check whether one of the two axles popped out of the transmission. Post pictures of the gap between the inner CV joint and differential for each axle.
