Okay ht heres my problem. i have a 98 ek hatch with a jdm b20b swap in it. Stock ls IM, headers to a complete straight pipe with cat deleted and no muffler(due to budget). Also jumped down to obd1 p75 with simple basemap. everything was running great until one day my idle started acting up. It was the first cold morning of the year in my area.(35 to 45 degrees F) The idle would bounce at exactly 1500 rpms. When i gave it a slight push on the gas, it would bounce worse then eventually break through and rev up normally. This would happen until the car was fully warmed up, and i shut it off and turned back on again. Then would idle normally but around 1200-2000 rpms which i think is a little high for warm operating temp. So ive done hours of research on idle problems and heres what ive done so far.(in order) After each thing i did, i would run the car to see if it was the problem.


-Cleaned IACV
-Cleaned TB
-Cleaned FITV(did not adjust screw)
-Checked for vacuum leaks(none found)
-Ended up getting new IACV because threw code 14 (IACV)
-Made sure coolant was bled good.

AFTER ALL OF THIS STILL NO LUCK. Here are some observations i recently did on my car

-Coolant hoses feel HARD. I mean so hard it would seem like the want to explode because there is so much pressure built up. It has been like this for a while i just never thought anything of it. When i open the rad cap it blows out and releases a bunch of pressure. I read that this can cause a head gasket to blow. Which brings me to my next point.
-Ive discovered a small amount of oil leaking under the dizzy and onto the tranny. This just appeared a little bit ago so im thinking my HG is fucked. Which i hope is not the cause but if it is, oh well. Ill fix it.
-I dont think my coolant is bled correctly. Tiny bubbles come out of rad cap opening when car is running so i tried bleeding it for like 20 minuets(fill up,let fan kick on 2 times, repeat ect. ect.) Which helped a little bit.
-Idle still bounces on cold starts(not even cold outside ], just a cold start in general)When warm i shut off, star again, except this time it idles as high as 3500 rpms!!!!! Which i think is insane! Then slowly works its way down to 2k. Still crazy high for warm car. (idle screw is all the way down too)

I am seriously going crazy guys i thought i had it figured out yesterday and it started bouncing tonight i was about to kill someone. This has been going on for about a month straight when it bounces it sucks to drive its just a nightmare please help this is my first swap i did myself and have no idea what else it could be.
