Default CR1616 batteries for remotes

I've gone through a few CR1616 batteries in our 2010 Accord keys thus far, and it seems some of them die very prematurely. I finally thought one of the modules itself had died, so I bought new keys on eBay and programmed the remotes in them to work with the car. However, I didn't realize the transponder was in the remote itself, and my original key with the new remote in it will not start the car. I then took the batteries from the new remotes, put them in my old remotes, and they work fine now.

My question is, where the hell can you get CR1616 batteries that aren't pre-drained? Anyone else experiencing this?
