How to make this switchblade remote key work with the immobilizer?

I put in the guts of the remote and got the key blade duplicated but didn't realized the car uses a transponder so it won't start. Can you cut the chip out of the original key to put into this new one? Can you buy just the chip? In one of the pictures with case open, there appears to be a slot for I assume that chip?
