89 Civic Si fuel pump not working!
Hello i have a 89 civic si and my fuel pumps not priming. 1st My main relay is good clicks when key is turned on, @2nd checked all fuse's and every one is good,3rd All grounds are good,4th I checked the connection that the pump plugs into and I'm getting a reading of 7.5volts W/ a semi drained battery. also the car had the pump replced with a walbro 190lph about 10 years ago . Do you guys think the pump is bad?? Any help is appreciated.
Well if your getting power to your fuel pump and it still is not priming when the key is in and you said your main relay is good. Then bam you solved you own problem replace the fuel pump. If you have power there and all the electrical is working your fuel pump SHOULD work. 10 years also the fuel pump is probably pretty old by now. I'd start there.
Bump anyone? ... I really cant find the thermostat ground anywhere .... idk if its because the swapped motor (dohc zc) but any suggestions would be appriciated.
Found it , looked good .. id like to say again im getting power to the connector where the back seat would be ... so could the wiring going to fuel pump be bad ?

the 5-pin connector has the wiring for the pump - the 2-pin connector has the wiring for the gauge sending unit - you could have power for the gauge sending unit and have no power for the pump
