Hey, so I was given an EG hatch with a JDM '96 spec B18c type r engine from a close friend because he had more important priorities come up.

It has the JDM '96 spec b18cR ECU (P73-003) ECU.

My friend said that the car was running fine before he took it apart to wire tuck it.

Well, I got it, hooked everything up and it just gives me a click when I try to turn it on. No crank or anything. Also the battery and oil indicators don't light up on the cluster when the key is on the accessories position.
What could be wrong!?

 

Did you check the signal wire going to the starter?

 

Also, check the voltage of the battery with a voltmeter before you put the key in the ignition. It should be above 12.3V

Do you have any suggestions as to why the oil and battery indicators on the cluster don't light up when the key is on the II position?

 

Check all of your grounds. That is the most common problem I see when people do a wire tuck. It would be best if you had a service manual t
