Hi guys

How much grease do i need to put on the axel on the gearbox that goes into the clutch ?

I also did some grease on the inside of the release bearing and the shaft.
Also a little in the ball joint in the clutch fork.

But i need some confirmation that its done good or bad seeing the picture below.
And tips are always welcome !

Just a little bit on the input shaft threads.

 

light to none.
I messed up a twin plate clutch a few years ago by putting too much grease on it which basically a really light coat. the grease ran down to the clutch plates and messed them up.
put a light coat on and wipe it off.

I think i did a little to much grease on the axel.all between the splines are full of grease.

Schould i also pit some grease on the inside ring of the clutch ?

when I install I usually use lite coat of lithium grease, on the bearing shaft, and on the tips of the fork really really lite.

where in Germany are you? ask me how I know?

I dont life in Germany ,but i think that you see the high temp grease haha

Yep! grease tube.
do you know sneaky? and DP-engineering? I use Dp for tuning?

 

Clutch is a FRICTION assembly. keep lube of any sort to a bare minimum.

 

none at all.
only put grease on the bearing shaft, very thin coat like when you lotion your hands.

do you mean the bearing shaft like where the bearing moves up and down when you press the clutch pedal ?
