auto to manual swap issues, chassi harness differant! help needed!
Hi everybody, I'm new here so thanks to all in advance. A little background, I am swapping my 99 accord auto trans for a 2000 5 speed manual. I have a parts car so I thought I would just swap everything, trans, engine harness, dash harness, ecu, column and ignition w/key etc. Making good progress until I tried to plug in my new engine harness to the chassis harness, one of the plugs under the relay box on the firewall is different. The car harness for the auto trans has 12 pins, my new manual trans engine harness only has 8. They don't fit each other. Ok I'll just repin the connector for the ones I need right? Well four of the wires are the same color code but three are not. How do I figure out which ones I need from the eight possibles? I only have a Haynes book here so where can I get good schematics? I really don't want to swap the entire car harness since I have already hacked it up. Another wrinkle, my car has the ULEV engine, parts car did not and I already sold the engine. Anybody want to swap me an old Buick or something?
