Hi, cold air and heat only comes out of the door and floor vents in my 92Si. What do I need to check? The center vent was working but just stoped. Thanks for pointing me in a directon.

 

Probably your climate control unit, do a search for re-soldering the climate control.

You'll have to take out the piece above your stereo (with all the buttons on it) for directing air to defrost, floor, vents etc. then solder where the wire harness plugs into it. This happens in pretty much all of our cars.

 

yohan is right, I did mine '93. all vents work now. clock was blinkin too, resolderd clock plug. fixed it also. Hardest part about getting climate box out is the temp controll cable off/and back on.The hole job is just about an hour anyway.(don't loose no screws)

 

Ok. Thank you. I was thinking that it was probably one of the levers that move the flaps to the open and close position was sticking. I have read how to's on fixing this issue but they never seemed like the issues described in the threads & post applied to my problem. But ha, Thanks again for pointing me in the right direction.

 

I performed the re-soldering repair for the AC unit and it worked.
