1993 hatch with b16a2 engine harness
OK I recently bought a 1993 Civic hatchback shell. the previous owner throw in a D16z6, then i got a decent deal on a b16a2 out of a 2000 si. I have every thing figured out regarding the B16A2 swap except for the engine harness. I have researched and have found conflicting information....
There's what i think:
2000 si harness ODB 2 one piece- can't use
d16z6 harness ODB 1 connects to the shock tower - I will have to change injectors, alt, dizzy, run vtec wire from ecu and extend some wires
ODB 2 integra connects to the shock tower - injectors, alt, and dizzy are good
cost $100 to $150
so the easiest option is to buy the odb 2 integra harness
am I right?
Thank you for the help
( my first HONDA)

Re use your Z6 harness.
Use a OBD2 to OBD1 distributor conversion.
Use a OBD1 ECU. Stock JDM B16A ECU will work, but you'll have a 110mph speed limiter...or a chipped P28 will work. Or a OBD1 Del Sol B16A3 ECU (HA!! Good luck).
If you are using a NON chipped ECU, you need to make a 1 wire subharness for knock. And extend the IAT wires and solder the OBD2 plug onto them. The B16A2 IAT sits in the intake arm. Alternatively, you can use a ITR/CTR/OBD1 B16 intake manifold and IAT and reuse your Z6 IAT plug.
Those two connections are the only changes you'll need for your Z6 harness.
Since I'm a helpful person...I will direct you to make sure you have the right driver side mount and bracket combo.

Everything above is correct, however I repinned the distributor to OBD1 plugs rather than buy a conversion harness.
Make sure you don't get the IACV, IAT, and Evap control plugs mixed up or you burn up expensive *** sensors. *doh*
These two pics got me through my swap.
