Hey all honda noob here(oficially prepared for heckling...now)
So just picked up a EJ6 with a JDM B16A swap and boy am I in for a challenge haha.
so anyways took a friend who was a self proclaimed "honda Officinado" to serve as my technical advisor on the car and half my wad of insurance settlement cash(last car was killed by severe hail damage) that was burning a hole in my pocket for a new project car I could make my own, and what I have ended up with from what I can see is going to be a very long and involved project car. but I own it out right
heres a little Q&A from what ive discovered about it soo far

What is it?

A 99 EJ6 coupe....no reported major accidents and a clean title last reported miles 159,650 2 years ago...current....IDK 200,000??? and a SI cluster readding 109,xxx

Whats it got under the hood?

A NIGHTMARE!! lol jk jk just a p.i.t.a. JDM B16A( think its a first gen OBD-0)
came with a Skunk 2pro IMF and a half *** motor mount job(replacing with proper B swap mounts tomorrow) a pos short ram intake and some crazy wiring harness issues...to say the least(im a honda newb remember).

What parts/replacement parts does it need?

new radiator(got it) all the coolant hoses(got em 2) new oil pan/gasket(otw)
all the suspension bushing(otw) proper b swap motor mounts(got them) Suspension bolt replacements(2 are sheered off but getting replaced tomorrow) 1 blown skunk 2 pro 2 coil over damper(working on it) new windshield(working on it) Brakes/parts( getting the pieces together) new bumper/impact bar( impact bar/bumper were hacked to fit intercooler at one time)

Whats actually salvageable off it

Well luckily it had a **** ton of CF parts which I should be able to get some money back from it by selling CF hood, CF Fenders, CF Trunk, SF side mirrors.

How much did I spend?

too damn much thanks to idiot friend spent $2500 for car but threw in additional $500 for new wheels/tires and GSR seats the owner had lying around so $3000 for death trap thats slowly coming together.

What did I spend on it so far?

too much!! well for needed parts so far $750

how much more am I going to end up spending?

probably way too much lol
