Default P28-A52 blew diode d10. Help diagnose please.

What does d10 on the board do/control?
What causes it to blow out?

My car won't start. At first the main relay would prime and run while car was cranking but I never got it to run due to no spark.
Trying to diagnose the issue the car suddenly stops priming.
With key on and the motor not running my main relay just ticks rapidly and fairly loud, my iacv ticks along with the rhythm.
Could d10 affect my spark, fuel, and iacv?
Cel dimly light and blinks super fast with the ticking of the main relay+iacv.
If the ticking stops or I try to pull codes it's just a solid cel.
Car itself got a motor swap but the d16z6 head+components and harness all came out and went right back in. (Put the z6 head ona b7 block cause my z6 had a broken key way on the crank for the harmonic balance).

I know some about computer boards and general wiring. I just don't know the cause and affect of d10 on the board. Diode has RM4Z written on it for what I can see.

All help is much appreciated.

you shorted your IACV. your ecu is effectively toast, it'll cost you the same to buy a new one as it would for me to repair it. I would highly recommend testing ALL of your wiring for shorts before you put a new ecu in, and make sure you don't have any plugs mixed up.

Ecu is fine. Had no continuity from thermostat ground to battery (-)
Added a jump wire and fired right up runs fine even with no o2 sensor

I appreciate your input though. Thank you.

He had a grounding issue and for whatever reason thought d10 was damaged.

No idea what d10 is for. You would have to trace the circuit to the ecu pin and figure out what oin it goes to
