hi guys I have this honda civic 98 ex manual that has stall problems, stumble under acceleration full trotthle of I put complete new distributor, spark plugs, tps, map sensor, IACV, belt timming, head gasket, intake manifold gasket, manifold gasket, fuel filter, main relay, fuel pump, fuses, everything has been put brand new, and the car still have problems someone could give me a help with suggestions. the car turns well and while in parking or neutral is good, once you run and sink the full throttle as it stalls and stumble, all is well until you stab the throttle completely runs out of power and onlys tiembla.the codes That show o2 sensors because the car dosent have the catalityc but is nothing important to make my car stall and stumble under full trotthle acceleration.

Yeah I see what you mean tomcat39 lol...ok since you replaced all of that and your ecu is only giving you the o2 codes which wouldn't usually make it do that...check your ground on the thermostat housing and check the knock sensor but to me it sounds like the ground

 

sorry about that guys im a spanish guy so my english is real bad i know,my ground under the thermostat is good,my car dont have the knock sensor but i dont think that is the problem because my brother in law had the same car without the knock sensor and runs good.

 

Mechanical/ignition timing? TPS calibrated? And don't say it's "fine" or "good". MAP and TPS sensors plugged up wrong? Firing order correct?

 

Yeah id check the map and tps to make sure the plugs arent reversed

 

tps its already calibrated and the plug is firing and the same with the map sensor good and firing.i check the timming and its perfect . i hear something about valves and piston rings did somebody know something about that.or what about the ECU???
