Default 98 Civic Ex Bogging under throttle issue

I have recently purchased a 98 honda civic from a friend some time back it ran fine with a sporadic miss here and there died one day down the road replaced the ignition coil after checking voltage specs and replaced plugs (looked pretty bad) would start and drive however anything more than very light throttle application it would bog backspin and die, bought it like this assuming it was a fairly simple fix, not so put a new fuel filter on, pump is new, would run till oper. temp, and open fuel loop then became very hesitant under any throttle at all picked up a live data feed scanner found it was running lean at this point i went the route of the fuel pressure regulator, replaced it, ran about the same but codes changed 02s were right no longer showing it running lean however gave me a high input reading on the MAP checked voltage sure enough instead of the 3.5 it should be it was near 8, checked timing with timing light was off slightly, corrected from the distributor (under base timing) installed new MAP ran perfect for 10 mins. then back to the same problem all in all: new fuel pressure regulator, MAP, Fuel Filter, Plugs, wires, ignition coil, cap, rotor, injectors check out fine, TPS checks fine, has an adjustable cam gear installed advanced one point however ran fine like that well before my friend had it, so I'm fairly lost at this point

Unplug the primary O2 sensor to see if the problem goes away.

un plugged it and the car would idle for a few seconds and die, I'm leaning toward the TPS sensor and or an injector I know he checked the injectors not sure if he actually did check the TPS sensor i'm curious if there still is a problem between them.

at this point the only code it pulls is for the primary o2, replaced it no change however since the MAP has been replaced it has a slight miss here and there and if you go from about 25 to 50 percent throttle and let off it backfires, and i just learned that one of the previous owners hollowed the cat out is it possible I could be looking at a clogged exhaust system causing back pressure on the engine?
